Books I must own

I have reread several classic books. There are a few I have owned in my lifetime but many I want to collect or add again to my collection. Among these are several different Fairy Tales. Hans Christian Anderson’s leather bound Complete Fairy Tales is at the top of my list. Aesops Illustrated Fables by Aesops shall also be added to my collection. Bulfinch’s Mythology is sure to please. Grimm’s Complete Fairy Tales will once again rest gently in my growing collection of stories.

Among the classics I look forward to owning once again are, Catcher in the Rye, The Divine Comedy, The Art of War & Other Classics Of Eastern Philosophy, and To Kill a Mocking Bird. These books are must have’s and every adult in the world should read them.

With the darker side of classics, I plan to give home to many books. Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde has earned the right to be in the darker side category. So too does The Picture Of Dorian Grey. The creative charge within these books electrifies you. Edgar Allen Poe Collection of Works is a must have. Of course I have to include Frankenstein and H.P. Lovecraft’s Tales of Horror. Other classics to include in this group are Dracula And Other Horror Classics, and The Dark Horse Book Of Horrors.

Also adding to my collection of Stephen King, I will include Bag Of Bones, Needful Things, The Stand, The Shinning, Pet Sematary, Salem’s Lot and a new print of the Talisman to replace my poor conditioned original version.

Let’s not forget Dean Koontz, I plan to add Watchers, Odd Thomas, Phantoms, Whispers, and Dragon Tears, having multiple other books by Koontz.

Believe it or not there are some romance novels I will be purchasing again to add to my collection, having lost most of my stock years ago. Great Expectations, Gone with the Wind, Pride and Prejudice, Doctor Zhivago, The Tale of Two Cities, and one of my favorites, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I know I know, these are classics but honestly deserve their own list. For new romance, I plan to purchase Beneath this Mask, and Until November.

It must be said that as the author’s I’ve interviewed release their works, I will also be purchasing those to add to my collection. I hope you enjoy, feel free to share your favorites in the comments.
